Country Design Cottage

The appeal of Tiny house lies in their simplicity, affordability, and flexibility. For many people, living in a small space means less clutter, less stuff, and more focus on experiences and relationships. Tiny homes are also more affordable than traditional homes, making them an attractive option for people who want to own a home without taking out a large mortgage.

Tiny houses have many advantages

On the other hand, tiny houses offer several advantages, such as low maintenance and mobility. Tiny homeowners often prefer to spend their time traveling and adventuring rather than working long hours on home maintenance or paying the mortgage.

With the crowded cities and the hustle and bustle we live in, over the last few years, tiny houses have been gaining traction as a way of life. Through television programs and festivals, more and more people are embracing the idea of downsizing and living in a small space. The Low Country Designer Cottage is one of these homes, inspired by the marshes and coastal areas surrounding Savannah and Charleston.

The 9′ 5″ high ceiling in the bedroom creates a spacious and airy atmosphere. The sloping ceiling in the kitchen, living, and dining areas, ranging from 9’6″ to 11’0″, adds to the feeling of space and openness.

Quality materials were used throughout the tiny house

The home was built using high-quality materials including premium cedar shingles, poplar bark siding, oak hardwood flooring, pine ceiling, and quartz countertops. Energy-efficient materials include aluminum-clad windows and doors, a space-saving tankless water heater, and a ductless mini-split system.
