This Tiny House Tells What is Important in Life

Different people have different reasons for wanting to live in a tiny house. People who choose tiny house living think first about what they value in life. Protecting the environment, spending more time with their families, strengthening their communities, saving money, etc. In this article, we will talk about the tiny house that Nick and Kirsten chose to live in:

Nick and Kirsten, who love traveling and exploring new places, have also reviewed their life values and decided to strive for a minimal life from now on. Having rented more than 30 tiny houses around the world and gained a lot of experience about minimal living, the couple now embraced the idea of owning a tiny house.

Planning their dream home themselves, Nick and Kirsten set to work together, using mostly recycled wood, to complete their tiny house in their spare time from work. The couple lived in the tiny house for a while and then decided to rent it out so that other people could experience it.

The tiny house was built in a rural area. Although it is located in a rural area, it is 1 hour away from Nashville.

When you leave the house, you can reach very modest restaurants and shopping centers within 10 minutes. If you want to spend time outside the tiny house, there are plenty of activities within easy reach.  Fisher’s Off-road for outdoor adventure, canoeing on the Piney River, Chickasaw Trace Park for biking, and Montgomery Bell State Park for picnicking are all just 30 minutes away.

The 220sqm Tiny house is built in a rustic style on 3 acres of land.

The exterior is entirely made of eco-friendly wood, making it look like a fairytale house. There is a very modest veranda in front of the tiny house. You enter the house through an elegant wooden door with fine workmanship that opens from the veranda. Upon entering, the wooden ceiling of the house first catches the eye. The wooden beams on the all-wood ceiling are both stylish and functional. The floor is also wooden.

There is a seating area at the entrance of the house, where a small sofa is placed. When you sit on the sofa, you have the chance to watch the view from the windows opposite you.

Past the seating area, there is a table, also made of wood, that you can use for eating or working. After the table is the kitchen, which makes you feel like you are in a farmhouse.

The kitchen is quite enough for the meals you will make during your time in the tiny house. Opposite the kitchen are the bathroom and toilet. The toilet is off-grid and composting is preferred.

The wooden stairs next to the table lead to the sleeping area on the mezzanine floor. The sleeping area is simple in keeping with the general style, with daylight coming in through the windows on the sides, illuminating the interior naturally. There is a bed for two people inside.

The land where the tiny house is located is quite green, you can feel the peace of the forest to your bones.

All you need to do is spend some time by the fire pit in the garden.

This tiny house encourages you to see what is really important in life. If you want to have this experience and spend a peaceful weekend, you can rent the tiny house for $120 a night.

If you decide to switch to a tiny house life one day, it can help give you an idea.
