Hi everybody 🖐️
Today we will show you tiny house from United States.
People choose to go tiny for a variety of different reasons. Some choose the tiny life for the simplicity and their desire to be minimalists. Others like the thought of being able to move their homes on a whim or crave the isolation from the busy, chaotic standards of city life. Some just want to downsize entirely and be in a home that allows them the freedoms to do things that typical mortgages hold them back from.
Robert and Julia chose to build tiny out of the desire to live a more sustainable lifestyle AND travel the US in search of where they would possibly call their next home. They are empty nesters and knew they wanted to travel to all the states and a tiny home was a great option that would allow them to do that!
Their plan is to spend a month in each state and stay at state parks, wineries, on farms or rural property throughout the country.
With the help of a new service called Harvest Host, they can even find accommodations for nightly parking on such properties for when a longer term rental is not available.
Robert is in marketing and Julia is a business executive. Neither had much design or build experience before taking on this tiny project. But both are admitted perfectionists with a ton of determination. They gladly took on the challenge of building their perfect tiny home. And boy did they do just that!
They began their build a little over a year ago in their driveway and designed it to include all the comfort and richness of a larger home but added several brilliant features that would allow them to also leave a smaller environmental footprint. The determined duo did all of the building themselves, at times learning from mistakes along the way. Ultimately, the finished product turned out even better than they both had imagined.
