Modern Tiny House

Hi everybody

They are new for you and we continue to research new tiny houses. This energy efficient building is located on the outskirts of a small Czech village and remains surrounded by forests and fields.

House Zilvar was built in 2013 by Prague-based design studio ASGK. This energy efficient building is located on the outskirts of a small Czech village and remains surrounded by forests and fields.

The firm decided on an open-plan interior to make residents feel more connected to the landscape. It stands out with its modern furnished structure. The skeleton of this building uses larch lumber covered with vertical larch boards that have been carefully burned and stained to give them a more weathered look. Large sliding shutters created from the same wood offer adequate protection and privacy.
In addition, they cool the house by deterring the sun rays in summer. The roof of the house gives an unusual look to the whole building and there is more than one slope in many directions.
