The tiny cabin was built in Colorado, in the Rocky Mountains, at an altitude of 8,000 feet on 35+ wooded acres surrounded by national forest. It is 15 minutes away from the mountain town of Salida. The tiny cabin has a minimalist design and was built with an eco-friendly design in mind.
The tiny cabin is made of eco-friendly materials
All wood was used in the construction of the tiny cottage. It is designed in three sections, two rooms, and a veranda on wooden foundations. The wood used in the exterior cladding is painted black. Because of the black color, it does not look out of place in nature.
The panoramic view from the veranda is spectacular
The entrance to the tiny cottage is reached by climbing up a few wooden stairs. When you climb the stairs, a small veranda welcomes you. There is a small table and chairs where you can drink your hot coffee. You can also enjoy a panoramic view from here. On either side of the veranda are the rooms of the tiny cottage.
A Cottage with two rooms
The first room is designed as a bedroom. When you enter, you notice the wall coverings made of raw wood. The look and smell of wood give you a peaceful feeling.
The large windows dominating the view of the room ensure that daylight is used efficiently. It also helps to warm the cottage during the cold days of winter. A double bed in the room is ideal for sleeping after a nice trip.
The second room is a twin to the first. It also has large windows. Inside there is a small table and a chair. The tiny cottage does not have an equipped kitchen, but you can easily prepare your coffee at the table.
There is no bathroom but there is a shared bath
The cottage does not have its own bathroom. The bathrooms are shared and are in the bathhouse building down the hill next to two buildings located in the same place.
You can create wonderful memories in this very unique and authentic cottage to stay in. You can rent this tiny cottage for a romantic getaway or a family and friends vacation for $141 per night.
